Music producer Teddy Riley made some startling claims in recent interview.
LOS ANGELES, CA— Grammy Award–winning R&B and hip-hop legend Teddy Riley, architect of of the New Jack Swing music genre and maker of hits for Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat, to name a few, recently did an interview with SWAY in the Morning to promote his new autobiography, Remember the Times: A Memoir.
Among other things, Riley implies that the SONY Corporation got the idea for its name from his godfather Gene Griffin's "Sound of New York" record label which had a deal with CBS Records. Check out the video below for the real story.
